Empower Her: Healthy Relationships & Sexual Health is a women-only, trauma-informed programme for women and girls aged 16+ in Bexley. Running from March to the end of April 2026 at the Jubilee Centre (Thamesmead), the programme supports women—especially those affected by domestic abuse—to build confidence, strengthen sexual health knowledge, and access local support safely. Across two small-group cohorts (three sessions each), we explore healthy relationships, consent and boundaries, recognising coercion and reproductive control, contraception and emergency contraception, STI testing and confidentiality, and how to talk to professionals. Sessions are welcoming and judgement-free, with food and refreshments provided, take-home resources, and warm signposting/referrals where needed.
This programme is funded by BVSC through the Women and Girls Health Microgrants (Bexley) — thank you for supporting improved women’s health and reducing inequalities in our community.
