Meet the Team
Real people. Lived experience. Deep impact.
At Thrive Impact, we believe lasting change starts with connection and our team reflects the heart of the communities we serve.
We are a passionate, people-first team made up of lived-experience leaders, youth mentors, parent advocates, wellbeing facilitators, and community connectors. Each of us brings a unique story and a shared commitment to supporting women, families, and young people to not just survive but thrive.
Whether we’re leading empowerment workshops, mentoring young people, supporting parents of neurodiverse children, or building safe spaces for healing we show up with empathy, energy, and purpose.
We’re not just a team.
We’re a movement of changemakers rooted in care, rising in strength, and walking alongside our community every step of the way.
Come meet the faces behind the impact.

Meet The Team
Brains & Vibes

I’m Tayo, Co-Founder of Thrive Impact CIC and lead for our Teen Connect programme. I support the design and coordination of our youth work, helping create sessions that are engaging, structured and shaped by what young people actually need.
I’m a Business Analyst by profession, and I bring planning, analytical and problem-solving skills into Thrive’s work to help ensure our programmes are well-organised, impactful and sustainable.
I’m passionate about giving back to the community and creating positive opportunities for young people to build confidence, develop life skills and feel supported. Through Teen Connect, my aim is to help young people feel connected, empowered and able to see their potential.
I’m Adeola Ogbara, the Founder of Thrive Impact CIC
A community-rooted organisation based in Thamesmead, working across Bexley and Greenwich to support women, young people and families to feel safer, stronger and more connected.
Thrive Impact has been created to be more than a service — a community. With years of experience supporting women affected by domestic abuse, I lead trauma-informed programmes like Empower Her, Teen Connect, and Neuro Nurture, helping people rebuild confidence, develop skills and move forward with dignity and hope.
I’m passionate about creating safe, welcoming spaces where women and girls feel seen, heard and supported through structured programmes, mentoring, practical workshops and our Thrive Café sessions. At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief: when women and communities are supported properly, we don’t just survive — we thrive.

Amana tuning in! I’m a Youth Mentor at Thrive Impact, and here are a few things that shape who I am: I’m queer, neurodivergent, and South Asian. I’m a deeply loyal friend, an eldest child, and an older sibling. I’m also a student of anthropology and media, with a strong interest in creative living, mental health, psychology, philosophy, and art.
I find passion and purpose in the people I love, in nature and human diversity, and in the stories and creativity of people across time and across the world. I’m especially inspired by kindness, community, connection, and the commitment to keep learning and growing every day.
For me, volunteering as a mentor is a way to give back — helping to build the kind of supportive community young people need to explore who they are, feel seen, and thrive as their uniquely wonderful selves. It’s a real privilege to be part of that journey.

Hello, my name is Kerry,
I’m a Domestic Abuse Support Worker at Thrive Impact. I’m passionate about ensuring everyone has the right to live safely, with dignity, and without fear. I’m driven by empathy and a strong sense of social justice, and I’m committed to supporting survivors in a way that is non-judgmental, trauma-informed, and led by their choices.
My aim is to help people feel heard, supported, and empowered so they can rebuild confidence, regain control, and move forward in the way that feels right for them.
My name is Ann Ajayi. I am a qualified Registered General Nurse and Public Health Practitioner (School Nurse), with over 15 years’ experience supporting children, young people, and families. I also provide specialist support and advice to families of children with SEND.
I am the Programme Lead for Neuro-Nurture and a Director at Thrive Impact, where I support families and help shape services that respond to real community needs.
Mentoring is a natural part of my professional skill set, and something I genuinely enjoy. I am passionate about supporting young people to maintain a healthy lifestyle, with a focus on both their physical health and emotional wellbeing. I believe in encouraging positive, open-minded thinking, helping young people recognise their strengths, and empowering them to make confident choices — while also learning from them along the way.

Marnie – Social Media Coordinator & Support Worker
Marnie is the Social Media Coordinator at Thrive Impact and a Support Worker at the Tuesday Women’s Café. She shares Thrive’s mission and stories online, while also supporting women in a safe, welcoming space in person.
Marnie is inspired by the opportunity to nurture community connections, and is passionate about helping people feel seen, supported, and less alone through both her digital work and her face-to-face support.
Sola Adesugba – Floristry Trainer & Session Facilitator (Empower Her)
My name is Sola Adesugba and I run OMF Events, a UK-based floristry company specialising in bespoke floral design and floral education. I’m passionate about empowering women through hands-on floristry training — helping them develop new skills, grow in confidence, and build creative independence.
At Thrive Impact, I’m proud to be part of the team as a Floristry Trainer and Session Facilitator for the Empower Her programme. I deliver engaging workshops that create a safe, supportive space for women to learn, connect, and thrive.

I’m Parveen,
A Domestic Abuse Support Worker at Thrive Impact
I’m a compassionate and respectful support worker, passionate about supporting women from all ethnic and cultural backgrounds. I value diversity and work to create a safe, understanding, and empowering environment where every woman feels heard, believed, and respected.
My approach is person-centred and culturally sensitive — recognising each woman’s individual experiences, beliefs, and needs. I’m also multilingual and speak fluent English, Hindi, and Urdu, which helps me communicate clearly, build trust, and support women from diverse communities in a way that feels accessible and supportive.
